Privacy policy.

Your files never leave your device.

Every tool on QuickFileToolkit runs locally in your web browser. When you resize an image or compress a PDF, the work is done by your own device. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored — we operate no servers that could receive them. When you close the page, nothing of your files remains anywhere except your own device.

What we store in your browser.

We use browser local storage for exactly two things: your cookie-consent choice, so we don't ask on every visit, and your light/dark theme preference. Both stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us — there is no identifier of any kind among them. You can clear them any time through your browser settings.

Advertising and cookies.

The site is free and supported by advertising. If you accept cookies via our consent banner, our advertising partner (Google AdSense) may set cookies to show ads and measure their performance, which can include personalised advertising depending on your Google settings. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set. You can learn how Google uses data atpolicies.google.com/technologies/partner-sitesand opt out of personalised ads atadssettings.google.com.

You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Accepting takes effect straight away. Withdrawing stops anything further from loading, but an advertising script that has already run on the page you are looking at cannot be unloaded — that takes effect the next time the page loads.

Analytics.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools people use, so we know what to build next. It runs on every visit, including before you answer the cookie banner — the Accept and Decline buttons control advertising, not analytics.

What it records is ordinary web analytics: which pages you visited, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you used. We also leave Google Signals enabled, which means that if you are signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalisation switched on, Google may add age-range, gender and interest categories, and may recognise you across devices. You can turn that off for every site at once atmyadcenter.google.com.

None of it records anything about your files — not their names, sizes, dimensions, page counts or contents. It cannot: your files are only ever handled by your own browser, so there is nothing about them for any script to send. Server logs.

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — used for security and to keep the site running. These logs never include your files or their contents.

Children's privacy.

The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy.

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on the home page.
