Compress an image.

Cut image file size for faster uploads and smaller emails. Choose a quality level, or set an exact target like 100 KB and let the tool do the math.

Your files are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my image get?
Photos typically shrink 60–90% at the default quality with no visible difference. The result card shows the exact before-and-after sizes so you can judge each file.
How do I compress an image to exactly 100 KB?
Switch to "Target size", type 100, and tap Compress. The tool searches for the best quality and dimensions that fit under your target.
Why does my PNG barely shrink?
PNG is a lossless format, so there is a limit to how much it can compress. If the image is a photo, save it as JPG or WebP instead — it will be many times smaller.
Is it safe to compress sensitive documents here?
Yes. Compression runs entirely in your browser — your files never touch a server, and nothing remains when you close the tab.
