Frequently asked questions
PDF to PNG or PDF to JPG?
PNG for pages that are mostly text, tables, charts, or line drawings — the edges stay clean. JPG for pages that are mostly photos, where it gives much smaller files.
Why are the PNG files bigger than JPGs would be?
PNG is lossless, so it stores every pixel exactly. For text pages the difference is modest; for pages full of photos PNG can be several times larger, and JPG is the better pick.
Can I convert only some of the pages?
This tool exports every page. To keep just a few, pull them out first with Split PDF, then convert the smaller file here.
