Compress an image to 100 KB.
Settings
PNG is lossless, so it shrinks less — pick JPG or WebP under Export settings for the smallest files.
At 100 KB most photos keep excellent quality while loading fast and passing upload limits. The target is pre-set — just drop and compress.
- Compression runs in your browser — the photo never leaves it
- Set an exact target like 100 KB and the quality is found for you
- Keeps your original if re-encoding would only make it bigger
How it works.
- 1Drop one or more images into the box above.
- 2Tap Compress to 100 KB — quality is tuned per image, on your device.

Frequently asked questions
Is 100 KB enough for good quality?
Usually, yes. A 100 KB JPG at sensible dimensions looks great on screens and in documents — most smartphone photos shrink 10–20× to reach it without obvious artifacts.
What if my image is already under 100 KB?
The tool returns your original file untouched rather than making it bigger — the result card will say "Already optimized".
Which output format is used?
By default the image keeps its original format. PNGs that can’t reach 100 KB losslessly are downscaled; for the smallest results choose JPG output on the full compressor.
